Reviewers and Special Resources:
Barry Kent MacKay — bird artist, conservationist, author extraordinaire. Barry has coached my bird art, drawn diagrams for me, critiqued, positively, and explained for several years. If the illustrations bear any likeness to the real birds, this project owes much to this patient man, full of good will and humor, who really knows his avifauna of the world, as well as his illustrative techniques.
Mitch Heindel — pelagic leader of southern California, field mark expert. Mitch has given us considerable patience and feedback to improve our identification tips on many species, especially West Coast USA pelagics.
Alfredo Herrera — terrific field guide in Puerto Vallatra, Mexico, who helped us get many new west Mexican species recordings for EnjoyBirds. You can book field trips for bird or whale watching at his web site.
